Invitation to meet Polish business and government representatives

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency is pleased to inform about upcoming official visit of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development, Mr. Radosław Domagalski, to the Republic of Kenya and the United Republic of Tanzania.
The visit is  scheduled to take place on 15-22 July 2016 and is linked with the participation of the delegation in the 14th Conference of UNCTAD, especially the Investment Forum run during the main conference.
Economic cooperation has played an increasingly important role in the relations between Poland and African countries. Poland recognizes efforts of our partners in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in the development of infrastructure, business and sustainable growth and welcomes collaboration between Polish entrepreneurs and those from Kenya and Tanzania.
Steps have already been taken to further strengthen political, cultural and economic ties between those countries. Even though the current level of exchange is not very high, it reveals the potential of economic cooperation and the opportunities to tap into. It is also necessary to underline the  role of international organizations, like UNCTAD which creates a perfect platform for an open and cooperative discussion, focusing on economic issues.
Polish MFA strongly encourages entrepreneurs from Kenya and Tanzania to join the Polish delegation during economic forums in Nairobi (July 19) and Dar es Salaam (July 21).
