EAOGS – East Africa’s Oil & Gas Summit will be held on 20-21 June 2018 at the InterContinental in Nairobi, Kenya. Minister-led delegations from across the region confirmed to present opportunities at EAOGS.
Hon. Ernesto Max Elias Tonela, Minister of Mineral Resources & Energy, Republic of Mozambique, Hon. Germaine Kamayirese, Minister of State in Charge of Energy, Water & Sanitation’s, Republic of Rwanda and H.E Come Manirakiza, Minister of Energy and Mines, Burundi have confirmed that they will be presenting on their opportunities at the East Africa Oil & Gas Summit & Exhibition (EAOGS) on 20-21 June at the Intercontinental Nairobi.
Representing significant government level support for the summit, the Honourable Ministers join Cabinet Secretary for Petroleum & Mining, Kenya Hon John Munyes, EGH, Andrew N. Kamau, Principal Secretary, The State Department of Petroleum Kenya and the UK Trade Commissioner for Africa – Ms Emma Wade-Smith to present a special regional overview of East Africa’s oil and gas landscape which will open the official proceedings for EAOGS 2018.
This will cover:
– A detailed picture of East Africa’s hydrocarbon resources
– Revival of international interest in the region’s push to become oil and gas exporter
– Transforming resources into reservesManaging resources and expectations
Hosted with the official support of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining, Kenya, EAOGS has been specifically developed to provide real value and insight for all delegates. Through a series of plenary and industry panel sessions and topical presentations, participants will discuss, debate and explore the development of the region’s oil and gas sector with a focus on key countries, local content, political and investment trends, digitalisation developments and financing models affecting this rapidly advancing sector.
